Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses safely and on time.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with clients.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for damage and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and customer signatures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
- Collect payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) packages when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and maneuver them into delivery locations.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle or ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and app-based communication.
- Strong time management skills and a problem-solving attitude.
