Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial locations within the New York area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure zero accidents.
- Use handheld delivery devices to track progress and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure high satisfaction and handle returns or exchanges as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate traffic in a busy urban environment.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for accessing maps and delivery apps.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
