Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
- Verify delivery information and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and general maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and business partners.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and log mileage accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
