Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated addresses within Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Verify delivery items against invoices and obtain customer signatures.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically able to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a delivery route efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash or digital payments if applicable.
- Reliable personal vehicle to drive to work (or company vehicle provided).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
