Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to residential/commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Maintain optimal delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app to customers and dispatch
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures when necessary
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle interior and exterior
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area streets and neighborhoods
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
