Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Baltimore metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon package completion
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely and cost-effective service
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly communication and professional conduct
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or clean Class C driver's license
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore city and surrounding Maryland areas
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Reliable transportation to and from depot locations
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
- Flexible availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
