Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries across Baltimore metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication via mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time windows
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism and excellent customer service
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic knowledge of Baltimore geography and traffic patterns
