Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods across designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at warehouse locations
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile tracking system
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) or clean Class C license with 2+ years driving experience
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of Seattle metro area geography
