Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated locations within Raleigh metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle to ensure operational safety
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening
