Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout New York City and the tri-state area.
- Load and unload merchandise safely and efficiently from the delivery vehicle.
- Verify items against delivery slips and obtain customer signatures.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Smartphone with a data plan (required for app-based navigation and reporting).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from the designated depot.
- Basic knowledge of street maps and GPS navigation systems.
