Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food items to residential and commercial addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly communication and issue resolution
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and troubleshoot delays
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Long Beach/Orange County areas
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities and data plan
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
