Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Long Beach area.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inspect delivery vehicle daily for cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle inspections.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and route tracking.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
