Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices for navigation, tracking, and proof of delivery.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Organize delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption.
- Handle package returns and resolve delivery exceptions promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and handheld mobile devices.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and polite demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from the delivery station.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
