Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle returns or feedback.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and routing instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Washington DC area geography and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and using GPS navigation.
