Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and documents to customers throughout Washington DC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate delivery status updates via our mobile app to customers and dispatch
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery standards
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse and delivery locations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with minimum 2 years of clean driving record
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient using smartphone navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
