Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and merchandise to customers across Austin
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Austin streets and surrounding areas
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Reliable transportation to and from shift location
- Background check and drug test required
