Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations using company vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maintain customer satisfaction
- Verify package details and obtain proper signatures upon delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues or delays promptly
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness of delivery vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers when required
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone applications
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the starting depot
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
