Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Dallas metropolitan area roadways
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
