Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial destinations in the Seattle area.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients politely and handling packages with care.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness.
- Accurately prepare and maintain delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Resolve delivery issues on-site professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of the Seattle, WA geography and traffic patterns.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required by business volume.
