Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated addresses throughout New Orleans and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using dollies, hand trucks, or manual lifting techniques.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain electronic signatures upon completion of each route.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills with experience using GPS systems.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
