Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Obey all traffic laws and practice defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Perform a pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Interact professionally and courteously with existing and prospective customers while making deliveries.
- Accurately record delivery information and maintain delivery logs.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and company equipment.
- Report any accidents, damages, or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for route management and proof of delivery.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
