Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles safely.
- Operate delivery vehicles on assigned local routes in a professional and safe manner.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Obtain signatures and verify delivery details for accuracy and record-keeping.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any vehicle damage or mechanical issues immediately.
- Manage inventory and handle returns or exchanges as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route map.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for use during shifts.
