Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Cleveland area with accuracy and timeliness.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle cash or digital payments as required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior and exterior.
- Update delivery status and log daily miles and activities using company-provided handheld devices.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and politely.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and route calculations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and GPS navigation systems.
