Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, or goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Collect payments and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tucson metro area streets and neighborhoods
- Professional communication and problem-solving abilities
