Job Overview
We are seeking qualified individuals to operate our commercial fleet, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across the region. If you have a Class A CDL and a passion for driving, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a professional manner.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
