Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Operate delivery vehicles in a safe, legal, and professional manner at all times.
- Deliver Excellence: Deliver packages to customers with a friendly, professional attitude, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Efficient Loading/Unloading: Load and unload cargo quickly and safely, adhering to all weight and balance limits.
- Route Management: Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel efficiency.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery paperwork, electronic logs, and customer signatures.
- Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- License & Record: Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehousing is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
