Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to customers within designated routes
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain clean, well-functioning delivery vehicles
- Load/unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Track deliveries via GPS and provide real-time updates to dispatch
- Resolve delivery issues and maintain positive customer relationships
- Complete accurate paperwork and digital documentation for each delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation and mobile delivery apps
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
