Responsibilities
- Deliver cargo and packages to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50-100 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for change making and cash handling.
