Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and merchandise to residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions or delays
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Boston area roads
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for app-based tracking
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions when applicable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
