Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers in the Chicago metropolitan area.
- Unload and organize packages at delivery locations with care and efficiency.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Verify delivery details, including signatures and addresses, to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Prepare and manage paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable communication skills and customer service orientation.
