Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across San Antonio
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries efficiently
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and address route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving license a plus
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with San Antonio metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route tracking and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
