Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Charlotte metropolitan area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve issues professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address route challenges
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or commercial license (CDL preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roadways and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training is a plus
