Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across San Antonio and surrounding areas
- Optimize routes using our proprietary navigation system for maximum efficiency
- Load/unload packages with meticulous attention to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Proficient in using smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds consistently
- Basic knowledge of San Antonio geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
