Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic manifests using company technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Houston area streets and navigation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
