Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring packages are delivered with care and accuracy.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to record delivery status and update the system in real-time.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Resolve delivery issues professionally and report any vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate efficiently in urban environments.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency.
