Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safe operating conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Load/unload packages efficiently while following safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Louisville metropolitan area
- High school diploma or equivalent required
