Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport packages and goods using company vehicles while adhering to traffic laws
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Verify package details and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch in real-time
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Safely handle fragile, temperature-sensitive, and oversized deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco streets and Bay Area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
