Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Columbus metropolitan area efficiently
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Background check and drug test required
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends
