Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in a professional and timely manner.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon completion of each route.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Complete daily logs, mileage reports, and inspection sheets accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT) if required for commercial driving.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
