Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout San Antonio metropolitan area
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and time management
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio area streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
