Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, or goods to designated locations using company vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, resolving issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and inventory documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on traffic and delivery demands
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or clean Class C license with no major violations
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in delivery or logistics
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills with proven ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
- Must be 21+ years old with reliable transportation to depot
