Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and maintain organized inventory in delivery vehicles
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
