Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout San Francisco in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner to ensure high satisfaction.
- Obtain customer signatures and collect payments where required, ensuring accurate daily reporting.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Utilize handheld devices to manage delivery logs, route planning, and customer communication.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all local traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable).
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and logging purposes.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic English proficiency for customer interaction.
