Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload packages safely and efficiently using proper lifting techniques.
- Verify delivery details and obtain electronic signatures or proof of delivery.
- Practice safe driving habits and strictly adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public during every interaction.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and delivery times.
- Ensure the vehicle interior and exterior are kept clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong sense of direction and advanced navigation skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Professional appearance and strong verbal communication skills.
- Availability for early morning or late evening shifts as required.
