Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout the San Francisco metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are handled with care and organized efficiently.
- Verify delivery details and obtain electronic signatures from customers.
- Perform daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Navigate complex city routes using GPS systems while adhering to traffic laws.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide top-tier customer service at every stop.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with the streets and geography of San Francisco is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable smartphone for logging hours and route management.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
