Responsibilities
- Safely deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers across San Diego using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely and efficient service
- Verify order accuracy and maintain pristine condition of all items during transit
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly communication and professionalism
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of San Diego neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication tools
- Reliable transportation to and from designated depot
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
