Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial delivery locations.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during the delivery process.
- Inspect vehicle daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues before starting the route.
- Prepare packages for delivery, ensuring all items are properly labeled and secured.
- Use handheld scanning devices to confirm successful deliveries and update status in real-time.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with mobile applications or handheld scanners.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable vehicle insurance and current registration.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as required.
