Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages, maintaining the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Handle all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and on time.
- Resolve minor customer inquiries on the spot and escalate complex issues to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods while working.
- Basic knowledge of local geography in the Raleigh, NC metropolitan area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse customers.
- Reliable personal vehicle (if using personal vehicle) or willingness to use company vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
