Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated residential and commercial addresses in Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Provide outstanding customer service by being polite, professional, and courteous during every interaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Accurately handle and document delivery receipts and proof of delivery (POD) logs.
- Plan efficient routes to minimize delivery time and fuel consumption.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Current vehicle registration and insurance.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient with mobile technology, including GPS navigation apps.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Resident of the Raleigh, NC area preferred.
