Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes within Colorado
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight with minimal physical handling (no-touch operations)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Communicate with dispatch via Qualcomm systems for route optimization
- Deliver freight to distribution centers, retail locations, and manufacturing plants
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain shipment records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and Qualcomm systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Colorado mountain road conditions
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
